This is what you need for making home brewed malt drink ('kotikalja' in Finnish, 'svagdricka' in Swedish, 'hvidtøl' in Danish, 'kvass' in Russian).
TUOPPI -Malt Extract contains 3 sachets of malt extract and dried yeast. When making malt drink you need to add water and sugar only. From 3 sachets of malt extract you get 9 litres malt drink.
Instructions:
1. Mix one bag of extract into 2.5l to 3l of lukewarm water (+40 to +42 C)
2. Add 100ml to 200ml of sugar and mix well
3. Add dried yeast sprinkled on the surface
4. Let brew slightly covered for 24 hours in room temperature
5. Bottle and refrigerate for 24 hours before consuming.
Best before date: 12/01/2024. A ‘Best Before’ date refers to the quality of the food. This date gives you an idea of when the food should be eaten if you want to eat it at its best quality. After the ‘Best Before’ date it is likely that the quality of the product may begin to change. It isn’t a safety issue and food can still be sold by shops beyond its ‘Best Before’ date as long as it’s still fit to eat.
