Put mix in bowl and add 500ml lukewarm water Mix into a lump free batter. Add 250g (pre-soaked) raisins or sultana's (optional). Cover with a moist cloth and let rise in warm spot for about 30 min. Preheat oil to 190C in a deep pan or fryer. Make balls with 2 spoons or ice scooper. Let them slide into the oil and push them under for a moment. Bake to golden brown in 4 min.
