A delicious creamy dessert with a caramelized layer on top. Includes the caramelizing sugar. You will need 1 cup cold milk and 1 cup cold whipping cream. For broiling, select four small souffle dishes, custard cups, or ramekins. You may prepare this on the stove top or in the microwave. 4 servings
Ingredients: Sugar, 29% caramel sugar, starch, egg powder, natural Bourbon vanilla flavor, ground vanilla beans extracted, gelling carrageenan, stabilizers (E 339, E 450), coloring carotene
Preparation: Pour 200ml of milk and 200g of whipped cream into a saucepan. Stir the cream powder with a whisk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook at medium heat with constant stirring for at least 1 min. 2. Spread the cream on 4 heat-resistant racks or cups, allow to cool slightly and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours. 3. Sprinkle with sugar and caramelize with a gourmet burner. OR Preheat oven grill to highest level. Sprinkle with sugar and caramelise for about 2 minutes on top of the rack. Leave crème to cool slightly and serve.
