Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (German for "ragout Zurich style", in Zürich German „Züri-Gschnätzlets“) is a Swiss dish from the Zurich region.
You'll need 250g (one cup) meat or poultry cut into strips (use Veal, Pork loin or Chicken - your preference) and 150g of Mushrooms (fresh or canned - drained).
Sear your meat or poultry strips over a high heat in oil. Remove the meat from pan and keep warm.
Saute your mushrooms (cut into slices) in same pan (add more oil). Add 250 ml (1 cup) cold water to the mushrooms, then stir in the contents of package.
Bring to a boil while stirring and allow to cook for 1 minute.
Add meat or poultry to the pan and allow to heat through.
Serve with Spaetzle or Rösti and vegetables.
