Traditional spice mix for a true Scandinavian mulled wine (Glögg in Swedish, Gløgg in Danish and Norwegian, Glögi in Finnish) 37g

 

Ingredients: Raisins, bitter orange peel, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves.

 

Recipe Suggestion:
750ml red wine (1 bottle)
100ml sugar
1 bag of Glogg Spices

 

Preparation: Heat the wine, spices and sugar to about 80 ° C. Allow mixture to stand under the lid for about 1 hour. Strain the spices. Heat before serving with raisins and almonds.

 

Tip! For stronger Glogg, use 500ml red wine and 200ml plain vodka. A completely non-alcoholic glogg can be made with diluted blackcurrant juice - For both of these options, omit the sugar!
