Lingonberry Beef Patties

Lingon-beef Patties

500g lean minced beef
75ml oatmeal
1 tbsp potato starch (or corn flour)
100ml lingonberry jam
50ml water
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
1 finely diced onion
1 egg
50ml finely chopped parsley

Mix oatmeal, potato starch, lingonberry jam, water, salt and pepper. Allow the mixture to swell for about 10 minutes.

Add the rest into the mixture and shape it to desired patty sizes.
Bake the patties in the oven at 225 degrees for about 15 minutes.
Alternatively you can fry the patties on medium heat 4 to 5 minutes each side.

Serve the patties with potatoes, mashed root vegetables, lingonberry jam and salad.
