These cucumbers are ripe and fully grown, which we receive from the farmer starting at the end of September. These yellow-green cucumbers are first seasoned with mustard seeds, then pickled and cooked. Several steps are involved in their preparation: first, the fully ripe cucumbers must be peeled and seeded before being cut into bite-sized pieces. They are then pickled in vinegar, among other things, and finally cooked in their own brine. Like their crunchy relatives, pickled cucumbers are a dream for those watching their figure: with just 39 kcal per 100g, they make a delicious, guilt-free snack.
